Make Money Online Secrets: The second Pre-requisite To Make Money Online

Posted by Kevin Njoroge on November 14, 2009 under affiliate marketing, make money online | Be the First to Comment

We’ve already covered the first pre-requisite to make money online for beginners.
Now, we’re going to look at the second pre-requisite to make money online for beginners which is to create an offer for your target market identified in the previous step.

Your offer is going to be a product or service that meets the needs of your target market, solves a problem being experienced by your target market or improves the lifestyle of your target audience in one way or the other.

The principles of business whether online or offline are very much the same. Any business thrives on its ability to provide value to its customers. This value should be etched in products or services that are worth your customers’ every last cent. Otherwise they wouldn’t part with their hard-earned dollars and you’ll be faced with dozens upon dozens of refunds and that’s no fun, right?

Your offer is everything and should be something that really adds value to your customers’ lives. So, if in “the first pre-requisite to make money online for beginners” which we have already covered you identified a gap you might fill, go ahead and do it.

Basically there are two possible ways for you to create an offer for your online market.

1. You can sell products to your target market as an affiliate.

2. You can create and sell your own products and sell to that market.

Both methods work and are proven ways to make money online. But whichever way you choose, your offer should address your prospects’ biggest question: “What’s in it for me?”

Show your potential customers how they stand to benefit from your offer. If you found that your target want to lose weight, for example, your offer should show them how to do it. Your offer should show them how you can give a boost to their lifestyle or the kind of lifestyle your product can afford them.Your offer is as god as it solves the needs of your target audience.

One more important thing before moving on to the next step, you also need to have a way to build an email list of present and potential customers. This is especially important for several reasons:

First, most people will not make a purchasing decision until they are exposed to an offer multiple times.

Secondly, your present customers will most likely be your return customers and you can make repeat profits in the future from them by making new offers and recommendations over time. Your list can even help you with surveys when you want to create an information product in the future

Thirdly, building a list enables you to build a relationship with your potential and present customers. If you prove useful to your subscribers’ objectives, you’ll build credibility, trust and respect from your target audience and profit big time in the long run.

To build a list of subscribers, you’ll need an autoresponder. This is basically a piece of software that makes email communication and promotion a breeze.

Basically, an autoresponder sends a pre-loaded sequence of email messages automatically when a prospect fills an opt-in form or sends an email to the autoresponder address.

There are many autoresponder services on the web today, but with unmatched reliability and deliverability, Aweber is hands down the best and the #1 choice for most marketers.

In conclusion, the second pre-requisite to make money online for beginners is simply to create an offer for your target market. That’s simply put, filling a need for your target audience you’ve already identified

Forums As A Source Of Free Laser Targeted Traffic For Your Website Or Blog

Posted by Kevin Njoroge on October 19, 2009 under Traffic, affiliate marketing, blogging, list building, make money online | Be the First to Comment

Forums are an excellent source of targeted traffic and in fact forum traffic is one of the most laser targeted. This is a good idea because like we said in the Ebook “Easy Internet Profits: How To Make Money Online For Beginners“, the traffic to your website should be laser targeted if you are to make good money online.

Forums are actually useful across two platforms:

First, forums are a great way to know what people in your niche are looking for or want to know but that’s another topic for another day. Today we are going to look at the second way to use forums to build your online business which is:

Getting backlinks and free traffic to your websites or blog. Now, to drive traffic to your website or blog using forums, you need to find forums related to your niche and become an active member of the forum(s). Two to three forum posts are not enough and I am going to reveal to you another secret why you will want to become an active contributor of a certain forum if you keep reading.

You can easily find forums online on almost any niche you want, some free others fee based. You can find them easily by searching over at Google or any other search engine using the search phrase “Niche+forum” e.g. Pet training forum.

Now, before firing your forum marketing, you need to read the rules and regulations of the forum you just joined to stay out of trouble with the forum moderators. It’s also a good idea to introduce yourself to the other members and to get a general feel of the forum before posting. Get to know the tone of the forum members as well as the forum moderators.

You’ll also need to create a signature file which is where traffic to your website will come from. The signature file appears at the end of every post you make in the forum. By including the link to your website, interested members of the forum can click through to your website.

Your signature file doesn’t have to be so big; just your name, a statement or two and your website link are enough. It must however have a clear call to action e.g.

extra calories eating as much as you want.

Visit Weight Loss Solutions for simple weight loss solutions

Once you have read and understood the rules of the forum and have a good feel for the tone of the community, it’s time to start contributing to them.

Spend some time to develop a good relationship with the community. By that I mean that you should contribute something. Don’t post junk or spammy comments that don’t make sense in the context of the thread you are posting in just for the back links to your website or get advertising credit. They will only get deleted by forum moderators in the very least not to mention that you could get your account deleted.

Instead, ask your own questions, respond to other people’s posts by offering solutions and answers to their problems and questions as well as offering useful links to free resources that other members of the community need.

your long term goal is mainly to build your credibility among other members of the forum community. Be seen as a reliable source of useful information and an active member of the community. Again don’t be afraid to learn from other members of your forum. Don’t get stuck with your own problems when you’ve willing members of the forum community to help you out.

Another powerful strategy is to introduce a free report as a solution to a problem that was posted. It could also be a piece of software, audio file or even video-as it best fits the given situation.

You can even offer some free (but useful) gift to the members of the community for their own purpose if the forum rules permits you to. This could be a set of articles,an autoresponder series etc.

If you are an internet business owner, there is one forum you must be an active member of and that is Rusell Brunson’s ConquerYour Niche forum.

ConquerYourNiche is one amazing forum where you get rewarded simply for participating in the forum. Rusell Brunson allows you to earn FREE advertising credits so you can get quality traffic just for posting in the forum! There is no other forum like this.

Everytime you post, reply, or even READ a post, you can earn advertising credits. So, if you participate in forums a lot, your earned credits can soar and your ad can be displayed multiple times. The best part: it’s totally free to join as well.

Forum marketing is one very reliable source of targeted traffic to your website. If you can take the time to participate in forums, you can gradually accumulate links back to your website and get some search engine love and some free traffic (free is good huh!).

So get your forum marketing campaign rolling and get help for those obstacles to your online business while you generate free qualified traffic to your website or blog. ConquerYourNiche is a nice place to get started.

Beginners Guide to Affiliate Marketing

Posted by Kevin Njoroge on September 19, 2009 under affiliate marketing, make money online | Read the First Comment

Affiliate marketing is a business model in which an affiliate is assigned a unique URL (link) which tracks the visitors he/she sends to a merchant website/product and each time a visitor takes the desired action, he’s credited with the action and earns a commission.

It’s therefore a pay per action relationship between the product owner and the affiliates.

There are basically two ways you can earn as an affiliate

-Generating a sale

-Generating a lead

In the first case, you earn a commission, usually a percentage of the sale whenever one of the prospects you refer purchase the affiliate product(s). In other words, you get paid per sale. This type of affiliate marketing (Pay-per-Sale) is the most common and is what immediately comes into the mind of many when the term affiliate marketing is mentioned.

Your job as an affiliate marketer is simply to refer potential customers (targeted traffic) to the merchant website and wait for your commissions (Assuming the prospects purchases your product) as the product owner handles the rest from payment processing and product delivery to processing refunds and providing customer support.

In the second case (Pay-per-lead), you get paid for referring potential customers (leads). That’s, instead of referring potential customers to the merchant product directly, you refer them to the product information. For example you might get paid for simply having the prospects to fill out a form, pre-qualifying them for further information.

In some cases, the product owner will even offer some sort of a gift in exchange for their contact details. The gift could be a free trial version of a product or service or a free sample to a product e.g. vitamin supplements

There are many pay-per-lead affiliate programs especially in the areas of finance, insurance, attorney services (legal), etc. You can search for them over on affiliate directories such as Commission Junction.

Affiliate marketing is in my opinion the easiest way to start to make money online and the best suited for newbies. Simply send qualified traffic to the affiliate program and you are ready to start earning. Does it get easier?

As you experiment with affiliate marketing, you can get to learn how things work online and create your own product later on.

Also, as you build your list and build a relationship with your subscribers, you can make repeat sales and profits as you recommend more and more products over time

The surefire 5 step formula to make money online

Posted by Kevin Njoroge on September 2, 2009 under affiliate marketing, make money online | Be the First to Comment

Making money online is a function of 5 variables that you must plug into place. They are the following in a step-by-step approach.

1. Find a profitable niche market: Profitable in this sense means that people in the niche are willing to spend money to accomplish a certain objective. To do that, you need to first of all think about your hobbies and interests. You may also consider yout professional training.

What you do everyday with ease could be the same thing that someone is desperate to learn about. Perhaps that is the most important statement I’ll ever make to you.

To illustrate this I’m going to give you three examples.

- Let’s say you are a salescopy writer with a solid seven years of successful freelance copy writing. You could sell an e-book on “How to write a killer salescopy” or “How how I’ve managed to write Multimillion sales copies for solid seven years”

-Let’s assume that you are a successful owner of a candle-making business. You could write an e-book about “How to start your own successful candle-making business in less than a week” or something like that.

-Let’s say that you have a passion for dog training. You can easily sell a video showing dog owners how to train their dog to do a certain task

You’ll need to conduct a brief keyword research to determine if your target niche is profitable. You can use on of the several tools available online today.

2.Next, you’ll need to make an offer for that target market. An offer is something that is going to help the target audience achieve a certain goal or objective, fill a certain need, or improve their lifestyle in one way or the other. This range from an ebook to a video, software, audio, DVD, etc

3.Next, you need to drive traffic to your offer. Your offer will be on a website where the target audience can get the solution to their problem. No business exist in vacuum. for a traditional Brick-and-mortar business, you need walk-in customers to buy your products. Similarly, for a website, you need traffic (visitors)

4. Next you need to build a list of subscribers and maintain a two-way exchange of knowledge in terms of feedback and continuous training. This is where many people get it all wrong. But we’ll look at this in more detail later.

5. Lastly, you are going to repeat the whole process in new niche markets or across horizontal line of products within the same niche. That’s how you explode your earnings.

So, here is a brief summary of everything we’ve covered in this post:

Market>Offer>Traffic>List relationship>Repeat =>>PROFITS
