8 Steps To Socialize Your Blog All The Way To Profit
Blogs are social platforms and harnessing a sense of community is one important factor in the success of your blog.
In this article, I’ll share with you 8 tips to socialize your blog all the way to profits.
1] Blog commenting:
The most obvious way to socialize your blog is by becoming an active member of other blog communities.
By spending the time to develop a good relationship with these blog communities, people are likely to want to know more about you.
By that I mean that you should actually contribute something. Don’t just say “Great site†simply to get a link to your blog. It’s much better to say something related to the article, respond to someone else’s comment or even ask your own question related to the topic of the article.
Again, don’t expect to post just once and see splendid results.
2] Guest posting on other blogs:

Given the tremendous effort involved in writing new blog posts every time, more and more bloggers are accepting guest posts from other bloggers and website owners.
This represents a new opportunity that you can leverage on to gain free publicity. There are three ways to get such blogs that I personally know:
- An obvious call to action: Most blogs that accept guest posts will usually have an obvious “Submit an article†link somewhere.
- Email the owner: If you find a blog related to yours that you like, why not contact the owner and request to guest post? Even if he or she declines, you still have nothing to lose.
- myblogguest.com: This is a nice site that lists bloggers willing to accept guest posts or to guest post on other people’s blogs.
3] Link exchange
By exchanging links with other bloggers, you can increase traffic to your blog by way of shared traffic.
You can add the link to the other blog first then request the owner to link back to you. To get started, link to this blog, the contact me and I’ll do the same for you.
4] Social bookmarking
Social bookmarking is still a powerful way to socialize your blog and increase its visibility on the web. There are many social bookmarking sites on the internet today but the granddaddy of them all is digg.com.
It’s absolutely critical that you take some time to submit every blog post that you publish to social bookmarking sites. One powerful and underground strategy is to form a social scoundrel of 5 to 10 bloggers and bookmarking each other’s posts.
5] Trackbacks
One little used but powerful way to socialize your blog is to take advantage of the trackback feature of wordpress blogs.
By publishing posts about other blogs, they link back to your blog posts. That’s an extra publicity opportunity.
6] Forum participation
By being an active member of online forums, you can generate lots of free traffic to your blog especially if you have a witty signature link.
Also, by building a good relationship and reputation among other forum members, they’ll eventually want to find out more about you. V7N forums even allow you to have your latest blog posts in your comments.
7] Good content
This may sound like a funny one but nothing socializes your blog more than good, interesting and useful content. Readers only go back to a blog if they know they will find good, informative, content. Period. It doesn’t matter how much visibility you have out there on the web if your content is sloppy.
8] Having a contact form
If other bloggers cannot contact you, how can they socialize with you and your blog? Your contact form should be easy to find. After all, that is a basic principle of good web design.

I believe that every blog can be successful and generate a good amount of passive income, the main point is to write for something that you really like, for example your hobby and do some honest product reviews. There are many different approaches, for example you can buy an already established blog, with existing traffic. This is a good start for your SEO and internet marketing campaign.

All of above already done except the trackback. What is trackbact? Please help me to explain it. I will respect if if you post about trackbact. Thanks for the tips…!
Hi Kevin. Let me say that you have a tact that tells you what people want to read and how they want to read. You have described all the details in a very convenient manner that could be required to any new or experienced bloggers. This post was really awesome.
Socialise with your blog. This need to learn on lot of blogger while lot of blogger are not allow comment posting and no comment feedback. These will keep will reader away because they fail to interact with you.
That why sometime your blog also have to content some interaction like open ended question in the content. Make your blog survive rather than look like wikipedia.
